Wyścig kolarski po ziemi Łódzkiej is a road cycling race series in the Łódź region, organized by the Okręgowy Związek Kolarski w Łodzi. Available results and regulations connect it to the Sulejów event, where participants compete within their age categories, rather than all covering the same distance. In the Młodziczki category for younger girls, the race consisted of one lap covering 16.3 km. The results show Amelia Tomczak of LUKS Dwójka Stryków placed 7th, and her clubmate Kamila Niewiadomska finished 40th, indicating a local youth racing scene supported by clubs from the area.
MTB Kamieńsk is a July mountain-bike race held at Góra Kamieńsk in Kamieńsk, Poland, situated on the highest mountain in central Poland. Participants select between a Hobby distance of approximately 25-26 km and a Mega distance of about 50-52 km. The Hobby route includes around 630 m of climbing, and the Mega route ascends to approximately 1,200 m. This race offers significant elevation gain within a contained area, distinct from a flat course. The course utilizes the ski-slope area of Góra Kamieńsk; one past event involved ascending the slope three times. The participant limit is set at 150, and previous editions have neared this cap. Categories include age groups, a team classification, and junior races under the MTB Kamieńsk Junior banner. A notable feature is the "Danielo" prize, awarded on a specific section of the ski slope, creating a distinct challenge within the main race.
Running: Locals run Bełchatów on city streets, around the city centre, and along the Rakówka when they want simple base miles. Bełchatowski Klub Lekkoatletyczny gives the place a proper track-and-road feel, and EKS Skra Bełchatów keeps the club scene serious. The Bełchatów Night Run anchors the calendar, and the race covers 10 km on a certified single-loop street course from Plac Gabriela Narutowicza. Bieg 12h Mocy brings a 5 km hit, while Bieg Uliczny Belchatowska Pietnastka gives locals another road target.
Cycling: The national and voivodeship roads cover 8 km and help stitch longer loops together. LSKK Lityński Fazbud World Bełchatów and BKC Bełchatów put cycling names on the local scene. Góra Kamieńsk is the climb everyone points to, and cyclists try their hand at it, climbing to the top in a sweat on the asphalt road. Mount Kamieńsk also gives riders 60 km of bicycle trails, including extreme riding trails, so MTB, cyclocross legs, and singletrack all fit. Wyścig Kolarski po Ziemi Łódzkiej stretches the racing side up to 119 km.
Season: April feels sharp because Bełchatów Night Run lands there, and locals use it as a clean early-season check. Summer belongs to Góra Kamieńsk because Mount Kamieńsk holds 60 km of bicycle trails and keeps riders busy when road miles feel too plain. Runners keep the city streets useful for intervals, tempo, and steady laps from the centre. Winter changes the mood for both sports, and locals lean harder on Z2, club sessions, athletic tracks, and steady work before the next anchor event comes back around.
