vi bieg chrystowskich dla niepodlegloscigrand prix ziemi kaliskiej

One Grand Prix stop begins next to the Palace in Tłokinia Kościelna, providing the Independence-themed Bieg Chrystowskich with a distinct setting compared to a typical town-road race. The broader Grand Prix Ziemi Kaliskiej is a regional running series in the Kalisz area, with its schedule spanning spring through autumn and its primary race distances varying from 5 km to approximately 15 km. The series connects five events: Wiosna Cekowska in Ceków-Kolonia, Tribeco Stawiszyn, Murowaniec – Tu się biega at Zalew Murowaniec, the late-summer Żelazków 10 km, and Bieg Chrystowskich dla Niepodległości in Tłokinia Kościelna. Participants aiming for the Grand Prix classification encounter a different challenge at each event, from the 5 km start to the approximately 15 km Stawiszyn race, with several events also featuring shorter accompanying distances. Overall awards consist of sports-equipment vouchers and cups for the top three male and female finishers, and age-category winners also receive cups or statuettes.

szutroza szlak wielkopolskich lowisk mini

Szutroza Szlak Wielkopolskich Łowisk Mini is the short option in a gravel bike race based at the primary school in Kwileń, Wielkopolska. The Mini route is approximately 91 km, with a checkpoint at 48 km at the school in Taczanów. Riders start in small groups of up to eight people, sent off five minutes apart, giving the event a staggered gravel-race feel rather than a mass start. The route follows part of the Wielkopolskie Fishing Spots trail, using rural roads and tracks through fields, forest sections, and ponds. Gravel bikes are the natural choice, though MTB bikes are also permitted in the wider Szutroza series. Stowarzyszenie Bike & Run Promotion Powodowo organizes the event, and riders can request custom start groups via email before grouping is finalized.

Calisia Triathlon takes place in late August in Kalisz, with the race center located by Aquapark on ul. Sportowa. The event features two primary distances: a 1/4 Iron Man (950 m swim, 45 km bike, 10.5 km run) and a 1/8 Iron Man (475 m swim, 22.5 km bike, 5.25 km run). Over 700 athletes are anticipated, drawing participants from throughout Poland beyond just local club members. The swim occurs in the Prosna River. The cycling route utilizes major city roads including ul. Lodzka, Szlak Bursztynowy, Częstochowska, ul. Sportowa, and Wal Matejki. The run course winds through City Park and the historic center. The course is designed for speed, particularly the bike leg, offering extended straightaways rather than a complex urban circuit. Off the course, Kalisz offers local attractions such as the early medieval settlement at the Archaeological Reserve, a view from the town hall tower, and the city's traditional thin, crispy wafers, Andruty Kaliskie.
